Tokyo, March 2, 2012 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) received notice today from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) that the company has been suspended effective immediately from participating in further bidding for a three-month period ending June 1. Tokyo, February 29, 2012 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today it has received an order from Ahuja Constructions for the installation of nine elevator units in the 53-story residential Ahuja Tower currently under construction in Mumbai, India. Of the nine units, four will travel at 6 meters per second, or 21.6 kph, which upon completion will be one of the fastest traveling elevators in India.
