Tokyo, June 21, 2010 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today it has received an order for 127 elevators and escalators to be installed in the Shanghai JingAn Kerry Centre, a large complex of buildings under construction in Shanghai, China. The order is worth approximately 1.5 billion Japanese yen and shipments will be made from September 2010 through July 2011.

Tokyo, June 17, 2010 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today it will begin sample shipments of two new 12.5 V high-power metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) models on July 1, 2010. The two MOSFETs are designed for use in high-frequency power amplifier devices in commercial 2-way radios for 25 W and 50 W grade power transmission applications. Both models are available in VHF and UHF bands, and conform to surface mount technology (SMT) requirements.

Tokyo, June 3, 2010 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today it has received an order for 19 elevators and 46 escalators from Mexico’s Ingenieros Civiles Asociados. The elevators and escalators will be installed in seven stations along the Mexico City Metro’s Line 12, which is scheduled to open in 2012. The order is worth approximately 7 million US dollars, and shipments will be made from August 2010 through September 2011. The 19 elevators will be manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., located in Tlalnepantla Edo, Mexico, and the 46 escalators will be manufactured by Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevators Co., Ltd., located in Shanghai, China. The new line, which is scheduled to connect a total of 20 stations, will run horizontally through the south of Mexico City. In addition to the 65 units of elevators and escalators, Mitsubishi Electric has, to date, also won orders for 63 units and 15 units for the Mexico City Metro’s lines 9 and B, respectively.
