High Frequency

High Frequency covers discrete and internally matched Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) FET’s as well as transistors and modules based on Silicon MOSFET technology. Our low noise GaAs transistors are in use as amplifiers for sattelite receivers (DBS) and automotive radar. High power GaAs FET’s are used as power amplifiers in radio links and satellite communication systems. Integrated GaAs circuits (GaAs MMIC’s) are used in very high volumes as amplifiers for UMTS mobile phones or WiMAX terminals. Key applications for MOSFET modules and transistors are analogue and digital communication systems like TETRA.

Opto-Electronics

Our opto-electronic products cover the whole spectrum from chips to fully integrated fiber-optic products. Therefore, we offer our customers innovative solutions for digital and analog transmission systems, above all in high-end trunk and Metro networks. Furthermore, red and infrared high power laser diodes are produced for industrial (DPSS), display and medical appliances.

Power Semiconductors

Mitsubishi has more than 40 years experience in developing and producing power semiconductors. As the first company worldwide which mastered all required techniques (chip, HVIC, and package technologies), Mitsubishi Electric developed the concept of the Intelligent Power Module (IPM). We are market leader in this field as well as in IGBT technology (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) and provide suitable modules for various application fields, for example motor control or traction for railways.

The use of power semiconductors has also attracted renewable energy applications.  Mitsubishi Electric semiconductors ensure greater efficiency and lower power consumption.

TFT-LCD Modules 

Mitsubishi Electric’s color TFT-LCD modules for industrial applications have a product range from 4.3” to 17.5”. They offer optimal visibility through products with various technologies like wide viewing angle and white LED backlight version. Furthermore, they feature high reliability respectively forward compatibility and long term support as well as enhanced view ability through Mitsubishi original technology: a Natural Color Matrix (NCM) and Feed Forward Driving (FFD). All TFT-LCD modules are RoHS compliant.
